She is very passionate about the emotional, physical, and spiritual benefits of yoga and feels that since she began her journey on the spiritual path of yoga she has begun to understand herself and the world around her on a deeper level. She believes first and foremost, that the practice and teaching of yoga is an extremely personal experience and that it is indeed a journey. The joy is in the journey. She is grateful to have learned through yoga that fulfillment does not come through the end result. This realization has enriched her life tremendously. When not practicing and teaching yoga, Maggie enjoys spending time in and being inspired by nature with her friends, family, and loving husband. Some of her other passions include kayaking, mountain biking, hiking, and camping.

Trisha has worked as a registered occupational therapist specializing in pediatrics since 2008. She first stepped on her mat at a continuing education class and instantly gravitated to the ancient practice. She began integrating breath work and postures in her sessions with the children she served while engaged in her own physical practice at home. She deepened this practice over the winter of 2015 while studying under Nancy Kearon and became a registered Hatha Yoga Instructor. While Trisha’s journey began physically, she immersed herself in the yogic tradition and was drawn to the emotional and spiritual benefits yoga had to offer. The journey paralleled a life change that offered an opportunity to experience a thorough understanding of non-attachment from both a physical and mental level. This journey deepened the value of living in and accepting each breath as it is offered and not as it is perceived. She began integrating, living and sharing its entirety with everyone around her. Whether you are a parent, baby, child, boss, employee, athlete…Trisha is passionate about sharing the same life enhancing practices that unite yoga with your modern day life. When not teaching or practicing yoga, Trisha continues to provide early intervention services for children in Pike County with Susan Ficken Pediatric Therapy Services, LLC. She can often be found somewhere where peace and activity collide…whether it’s yoga, bike riding, hiking, swimming or cross fitting, it will rarely be without her amazing husband and two young boys for sure!
